FAQ
How is the day on the boat organized?
Our taxi will pick you up between 7:00 and 7:20 AM from your hotel. The boat departs at 8:00 AM, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. During this time, we'll enjoy breakfast and a briefing. Following that, there will be a one hour dive, followed by a surface interval of one hour with fruit and drinks provided. Afterwards, we'll embark on the second dive. On the return trip, lunch will be served. We anticipate arriving back in Saladan between 3:00 and 3:30 PM
How is an Open Water Course organised?
The first day we meet up around 9AM to go over the basics of the theory before we head out to the pool for practicing the skills in a safe environment.
The second and third day, you will join us on the boat for two training dives in open water.
The theory will be done through e-learning, which means you can prepare this at your own pace.
What should I do if I have a medical condition?
If you have a medical condition, please contact us before booking your dive. We will provide you with a medical questionnaire, in some cases a doctor's certificate may be required. If needed, there is a doctor across the street from our dive center. Your safety is our top priority, so please ensure you get medical clearance before joining any diving activities. Reach out to us via email or whatsapp, and we’ll be happy to guide you through the process!
What should I bring on the boat?
If you're coming on the boat, please remember to bring sun protection such as sunscreen, sunglasses or a hat. A towel is also recommended. Everything else you need is already available on the boat.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little wet. Most importantly, come ready to relax and have a great time on the water!
What food and drinks are provided on the boat?
On board, we make sure you're well-fed and refreshed throughout the day. Your trip starts with a light breakfast featuring egg salad, fresh salad, bread, butter, jam, cornflakes, coffee, tea, chocolate milk, water, and electrolyte drinks. Between dives, enjoy a variety of fresh fruit and soft drinks like Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite to keep your energy up.
For lunch, we serve delicious, home-cooked Thai meals prepared by Poo, the owner. With three flavorful dishes to choose from—always including a vegetarian option.
How long in advance should I book my dive or snorkeling trip?
We prefer that all bookings are made at least one day in advance, by 6:00 PM at the latest. It's best to visit our dive center the day before your trip to try on equipment, check your certification, complete the paperwork, and confirm your hotel pickup time. This helps us ensure everything is perfectly prepared for your day on the water!
